''Tuesday Heartbreak, were a late entry I understand, did rock my sock off, and I could easily spend an entire evening shaking to their melodic rock songs. Look at them on stage and you find four different individuals, all demonstrating their art with a lot of heart and soul, especially young Mickael on drums. The songs had nothing to do with the demos on myspace, they were just wonderful live gifts to the audience, pure raw rock'' - Jetsepp, (Gazfest3 gig review)

There will be lots of people who will tell you life is not about Rock 'n' roll and having fun those people are f*****g liars! Group of friends from South East London moving up in the music world.

Dennis Dine: Singing songwriter and multi talented musician with a strong experience of performing, recording and leading a band. (prime interest: melodic pop rock)

Ceri James: Singing songwriter also with a huge experience of music performance both solo and in bands and a good business mind. (prime interest: classic pop rock sounds)

James Tobin: Singing songwriter and multi instrumentalist, with much experience of performing and working in groups. (prime interest: jazz and folk rock)

After stumbling out of a South London Train station around midnight Dennis found the first recruit for his new music project. Dennis had previously been part of an established signed rock act, with an EP playing the London circuit. Within 24 hours the blueprint for a new band was created. James had the same music outlook and ambition and was working as a session bass player for various experimental outfits. Dennis had very strong melodic ideas and was very established as a songwriter. James provided a melodic musical outlook to the bass, providing a foil for Dennis and his vocal melodies.

After deciding to move in together and focus on the project a number of home demos, the duo playing all instruments, various musicians and friends were to contribute on a daily basis. Already on the acoustic circuit and already regarded as a highly original and musically diverse group; a blend of pop/rock with Jazz chord types, Latin rhythms, strong melody and words. The concept of having musicians dropping in and out of the Group was short lived.

Dennis and James met Ceri, an old music friend of Dennis', in New Cross promoting new artists. Ceri, already established as a solo artist with a number of releases, provided a third strong member of the group. Ceri, born in Wales, brought up on a musical diet of Classic rock and Punk, as a second guitarist brought a more angular feel to the music. The band now had the core songwriters and vocalists. Dennis, leaning towards more of a Latin feel in song writing the band now needed a drummer who could be intuitive and able to work with James' complex and challenging melodic and jazz influenced bass lines.

Nathan Persad, fitted the bill perfectly for Tuesday Heartbreak's new drummer. He is well known in the area for playing drums, guitar, bass in numerous quality acts and performing his unique solo material. With Nathan on board the band have four multi instrumental, singing, songwriting brains. Surely there can be nothing stopping this band from London domination.

As a four piece, Tuesday Heartbreak, were gaining a good reputation in South East London. Quickly moving up the gig ladder into bigger central London venues, the band realised they wanted nothing to hold them back musically and recruited Emma as keyboard player and percussionist. Emma, a friend of Ceri's is a grade 8 pianist and provides a balance to the group.

Tuesday Heartbreak is a formidable live act with a unique rhythm section and catchy vocal melodies, at times they unparalleled by their peers.
